Sketching out the entire scene and then slowly populating it with each character. This was a painful process and when I look back at it now, 5 years later, I can see only see glaring mistakes and places I could have spent a lot more time on.
Thankfully, my friend Ruchir Gupta, a product designer came to my rescue and kept me from nailing my foot to the floor.
I put in little cameos of friends and faculty in the crowd. I wish I had done so many more!
