Fun fact, A Tribe Called Quest sampled the msuic of Lou Reed's "Walk on the wild side" They didn't get the sample cleared unless all the profits from the song went to Lou Reed. Which is exactly what they did. Despite being the party starter and the sound of the golden age of hip-hop, the band saw no payout.
